Being at 53 degrees latitude, we have long, long summer days. But correspondingly short winter ones. That, combined with cold, wet weather, means we spend a lot of time indoors.

Humans have created homes for themselves in the most varied ways imaginable on the planet. This innate desire for a place to call our own extends beyond mere shelter; it encompasses comfort, warmth, and security. We seek a space where we can eat, sleep, and play, from where to live our best lives, whether working or raising a family. We want beauty, light, colour, a place that makes us feel good when we step inside, where we want to invite our friends to join us.

Without services, a building is merely a shelter. The services are the beating heart and lungs of a building. At groundworks stage, pipework and utilities are laid - sewerage system, water supply, electricity, data.
